                          Westfield Theatre Alumni

                          The Westfield Theatre Boosters are proud to share the accomplishments of and support the endeavors of our Westfield Theatre Alumni.

                          Carolyn Agan (05)

                          Picture
                          is an active Equity member of the DC theatre community. While at Westfield she was very involved in the theatre department including the Cappie award-winning productions of Fiddler on the Roof and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead as well as being a cappie’s nominee, critic and secretary of Thespian Society. Recently, she has been seen in numerous productions at Ford’s Theatre including Parade, where she understudied the role of Lucille and performed opposite Euan Morton, as well as performing in A Christmas Carol, Liberty Smith, 1776 and their annual Spring Gala featuring Anika Noni Rose and Richard Dreyfuss. She has also performed at other area theaters including The Shakespeare Theatre (Two Gents: A Rock Musical), Signature Theatre (Tamar and the River), Keegan Theatre (Man of LaMancha, 1776, Bold Girls, The Hostage), Theatre J (David in Shadow and Light), Adventure Theatre (Winnie-the-Pooh, Tink!) and completed a National Tour with the Kennedy Center as well as performed in their annual Spring Gala. Carolyn is an active teaching artist working with The Shakespeare Theatre Company, Ford’s Theatre Society, and The Smithsonian Associates. Many of these jobs bring her back to Fairfax County where she is also a Theatre Sports and VHSL One-Act Festival Judge.


                          Barret Armbruster (06)

                           graduated from the College of William & Mary, majoring in Government and Classics. Barret was a member of the William and Mary Opera Theatre, a soloist at Bruton Parish in Colonial Williamsburg, and a member of DoubleTake (a co-ed a cappella group at the College). Barret performed his senior voice recital in April 2010.

                          Sarah Crossett (06)

                          graduated from Virginia Tech. While at Westfield, Sarah was instrumental in creating many of the artistic designs for Westfield's sets in her junior and senior year. She participated in the St. Baldrick's Day event in honor of her younger sister, Rachel, who passed away from cancer several years ago. Sarah appeared on the Fox Morning Show in March of 2007 to speak about childhood cancer and the desperate need for funding.

                          Tara DeVincenzo (06)

                          earned a B.A. in Theatre with a concentration in Costume Design from Fordham University at Lincoln Center in 2010. She is currently a freelance costume designer living in New York City. For more info and pictures of her work, visit www.taradevincenzo.squarespace.com


                          Ashley Faye Dillard (06)

                          attends The Studio Acting Conservatory in Washington, D.C.  She has worked professionally with Keegan Theatre Company in D.C, and is currently pursuing film acting, as well as stage work.  Ashley performed in several mainstages at Westfield, including A Midsummer Night's Dream, Fiddler On The Roof, Oklahoma! and Arsenic & Old Lace.She also performed the role of Belle in the Westfield Summer Stage production of Beauty and the Beast. 


                          Laura Fraase Walsh (06)

                          is currently the music teacher for children in grades K-5 at an elementary school in Savannah, GA. While pursuing a B.S. in Music Education from Elon University, Laura performed with Elon's premiere choral ensemble (Camerata), became a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and served as a charter member, vice president and then president of the Zeta Zeta chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon Music Fraternity. She graduated with high honors in 2010. While at Westfield, Laura enjoyed serving as stage manager for Arsenic and Old Lace and co-music director for the original 2005 production of Forever Plaid, as well as appearing in several mainstages, one-acts and cabarets. She was also an active chorus student, singing with Chamber Singers for three years and honor choirs at the district and state levels.
